In my practice, I leave the clock at the door. I focus on results because quality bodywork requires patience, not timers. My hands follow your muscles, not
a watch. Your body helps guide the pace, allowing the work to unfold thoughtfully and without feeling rushed. Before your first session, we begin with a brief phone consultation so I can learn about you, what brings you in, and how I can best support your needs. Once we’ve connected, texting is welcome for scheduling future appointments and staying in touch. Your body sets the pace. My job is to listen.

Hello, I’m Kimberly, a Doyenne of Bodywork and Massage - a seasoned practitioner shaped by decades of hands-on experience, study, and listening to the body.
My work is rooted in the ancient wisdom of touch, presence, energy, and our innate connection to the natural world. I offer Ashiatsu - a choreographed, flowing form of bodywork performed with the feet-alongside hands-on therapeutic bodywork. Drawing from traditional healing practices, my intention is to create space for the body to soften, release, and find its way toward balance.
Alongside massage, I offer Reiki and Medical Qigong energy work-gentle, hands-off practices that invite deep rest, grounding, energetic awareness, and connection.
Reiki is a practice of working with universal life energy, creating a quiet space to reconnect with the deeper source of vitality within and around us. Medical Qigong brings another dimension to this work, drawing from the ancient Chinese understanding of Qi, or life energy, and the energetic field that surrounds the physical body. Through intention and awareness, Medical Qigong works with this outer field and its relationship to the body, helping create a sense of clearing, grounding, flow, and energetic harmony.
Together, these practices offer a way of tending not only to the physical body, but also to the subtle layers of our being-to what surrounds us, connects us, and nourishes us.
Whether through the grounded foot pressure of Ashiatsu, the therapeutic presence of hands-on bodywork, or the stillness of energy work, my intention is to help you come home to yourself-to feel rooted, supported, spacious, and connected.
This work is a return to the roots: to breath, to presence, to the wisdom held within the body, and to our relationship with the greater field of life that surrounds us.
At the heart of my practice is Ashiatsu Massage-deeply grounding, intentional bodywork using the feet to deliver broad, sustained pressure. Sessions may also incorporate Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, reflexology, Polarity Therapy, Reiki, Medical Qigong, hot stones, cupping, craniosacral work, essential oils, and mind-body wellness practices. Rather than following a formula, I listen to what your body is communicating and thoughtfully blend techniques to support relaxation, release, nervous-system balance, and whole-body connection. This is not rushed work. It is slow, intentional, grounded, and offered with care. Every session is an invitation to soften, breathe, receive, and return to yourself.

I have been immersed in the healing arts since the early 1990s, long before massage therapy became as widely known and established as it is today. My early years in this work were wonderfully hands-on and deeply intuitive. We crafted our own massage oils, created facial masks from fresh fruit, and gathered stones from riverbeds for hot stone treatments-long before polished black basalt stones were readily available for purchase.
Those beginnings taught me that healing does not always come from something packaged or prescribed. It can come from our hands, from the earth, from relationship, from listening, and from learning to trust what the body is communicating.
Over the years, my path has taken me throughout the Valley, where I have had the privilege of working alongside and collaborating with respected acupuncturists, chiropractors, educators, and leaders within Arizona’s healing professions. These relationships have continually expanded my understanding of the body and deepened my respect for the many traditions and modalities that support whole-person wellness.
My practice today carries all of those years with it-the wisdom of experience, the grounding of traditional bodywork, the intuitive nature of energy work, and a deep reverence for the body’s own intelligence. What began decades ago as a hands-on exploration of healing has grown into a lifelong practice of listening, learning, and returning to the roots of what it means to care for the whole person.

Today, I am grateful to call Fountain Hills home, where I welcome friends, family, neighbors, and visitors into my private home studio. I believe healing begins with feeling safe, comfortable, and truly welcomed. Your comfort, safety, and well-being are always at the heart of my practice.
My own journey has taken me through many landscapes and communities. I have called Scottsdale, historic Encanto in Phoenix, and Fountain Hills home, each place becoming part of the story I carry with me.
Travel has also been an important teacher. I have had the privilege of exploring Morocco, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, the Hawaiian Islands, and many regions throughout the United States. Each journey has offered new perspectives on culture, tradition, ritual, nature, and the many ways people have honored the body and spirit throughout time.
I remain a lifelong student. One of my greatest joys is continuing to travel, explore, and learn-deepening my knowledge of massage, bodywork, energy practices, and traditional healing modalities along the way.
My dream is to keep following that path: to travel the world, learn from the wisdom held in different cultures and traditions, and bring those experiences back into my work with you.
For me, healing is never a destination. It is a lifelong journey of listening, learning, connecting, and returning to our roots.
The Spirit of Govinda
Gov-in-da
A sacred name with ancient roots, Govinda carries layered meanings of protector, guide, and one who is connected to the earth and the care of life.
For me, Govinda Therapeutics embodies the spirit of this work-grounded, reverent, deeply connected, and offered with intention.
It honors the wisdom of the body, the natural world, ancient healing traditions, and the quiet intelligence within each of us.
Grounded touch. Deep restoration. Sacred intention.
Certified Ashiatsu practitioner and licensed massage therapist in Fountain Hills, offering light, medium, and deep therapeutic bodywork rooted in traditional healing practices.
Serving Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Rio Verde, Mesa, and surrounding Valley communities.
Come as you are. Be grounded. Breathe. Receive.
My mission is simple: to help you come home to yourself. Open your arms. Breathe. Receive. Remember who you are.
This work is guided by a knowledge that lives in the body, not only in the mind. Decades of hands-on practice have taught me to listen beneath the surface-to subtle shifts in breath, tone, movement, and energy that may offer insight into where the body is holding, protecting, or ready to soften and release.
Ashiatsu and therapeutic bodywork are offered from a place of presence, intuition, and deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence. I do not believe the body needs to be forced into letting go. Each session unfolds in its own time, shaped by what is felt and communicated in the moment.
My intention is to create a space where you can feel safe enough to soften, supported enough to let go, and connected enough to listen to what your own body is asking for.
Nothing forced. Nothing rushed. Just attentive, grounded care-one breath, one moment, one body at a time.
